Terms and conditions
The terms on which this site is made available.
These terms govern your use of insurebeforedriving.com. Using the site means accepting them. They are written plainly on purpose; if a clause seems unclear, ask and we will explain it.
Who publishes this site
Insure Before Driving is published by Chawla Content Works, proprietor Sonam Chawla, of Flat 507, Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal 700091, India. Contact: editorial@insurebeforedriving.com.
Using the site
Read it, print it, send it to someone. Quoting an extract with attribution and a link is fine and always will be.
What you may not do: republish articles in full without permission, present our work as your own, scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or use it to build a competing product. Ask about syndication rather than assuming — the answer is usually yes.
Copyright
Text and original graphics on this site are copyright Chawla Content Works. Photographs are licensed from Pexels and remain the work of the photographers credited beneath them; the Pexels licence governs their reuse, not these terms.
Accuracy and the nature of what we publish
We take accuracy seriously and correct errors openly. But this site publishes general information, and general information cannot account for your particular situation. Nothing here is professional advice, and nothing here is financial advice — rules, rates and products vary by country and change frequently. Please read our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and we are not attempting to.
Links to other sites
Where we link out, it is because the destination was useful when we linked to it. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or for what changes after we linked.
Advertising
Advertising displayed on this site is supplied by third-party networks and is not an endorsement. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. Editorial is decided independently of advertising, as set out in our editorial policy.
Changes and applicable law
We may amend these terms; the current version is always the one on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction — which does not remove any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
